What started as a series of nights in hazy kitchen with two acoustic guitars over the summer of 2014, soon grew legs and developed into Glasgow based psychedelic post punk outlaws the BLACK CAT REVUE.

Armed with only a handful of songs and a pocketful of ideas, Garry and David performed their first gig together in March 2015. Soon afterwards, friends of the band Mick and Gary joined on drums and bass respectively to create what is now a melting pot of influences and creativity.

Wearing influences proudly on their sleeve such as Neil Young, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Stooges and The Doors. The BCR have developed their own unique sound of shimmering, reverb heavy psychedelic guitar interplay held in place by thunderous drums and groove heavy basslines.

With a place on Fred Perry Subculture's 20 Glasgow bands you must hear along with support slots for Magic Castles and Dengue Fever, 2015 is shaping up to be a good year for the band in its infancy.
