A duo was born via SoundCloud when Australian based artist Tanya Batt and UK producer/musician Alisdair Mason (Ficci) discovered a mutual admiration for one another’s music.

As an experimental project, the eclectic duo unleashed their first collaboration ‘Walk Away’; written, produced and recorded from Birmingham to Melbourne, without ever being in the same room.

The response to their release as separate artists gained worldwide exposure and a demand for more music from their audience. From this, BATTS was born – a collaboration between two artists across the seas who have never met in person.

After releasing their debut single as BATTS 'Morals' which garnered a huge response from the blog world and radio. Receiving over 114k plays on their Soundcloud alone on the song, airplay on BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Triple J, FBI and many other stations worldwide. BATTS released their second offering 'For That, I'm Sorry' which has also had matched success really solidfying their name within artists to watch. Releasing the first two songs living on opposite sides of the world, Australian half Tanya Batt will now be moving to the UK to live with Mason and start performing live. An act with an incredible story and music to match.
