From Chelmsford Rail Station…
Take the rear exit of the station, follow Railway Street; you’ll find us on the corner of Wells Street.

From Chelmsford Bus Station…
Directly opposite the Duke Street bus terminal, head straight down Wells Street and you’ll find us on the corner.

Parking…
24 hour parking available behind The Ship public house, 30 seconds from the Bassment.

OPENING TIMES:

Wednesday/Thursday 8:00pm – 12:00am

Friday/Saturday 8:00pm – 04:00am

AGE RESTRICTION:

Strictly over 18. You may be asked for photo ID to confirm your age. We can accept a passport, photocard driving licence (provisional/full) or any PASS accredited ID card (CitizenCard/Validate etc.) We reserve the right to refuse admission.

TICKETS:

We issue e-tickets to your email address through the Music Glue ticket platform– you will not receive a physical ticket in the post. Please bring a copy of the e-ticket with you to the show, either printed or on a smartphone. If you arrive without a copy we can still confirm your ticket purchase, when presented with relevant ID.

The ticket vendor adds a booking fee on top of the advertised ticket price.

HIRING THE BASSMENT:

The venue is available for private and public event hire. Please contact us for more information.

PLAYING AT THE BASSMENT:

If you are a musician, band, DJ, comedian, artist or promoter and want to play at the Bassment, please read the below and contact us.

• Tell us who you are and where you are from.
  
• A short bio with any press quotes and/or reviews is great.
  
• Include a LINK to your music. Facebook, YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify etc. are perfect.
  
• We aim to get back to you within a few days, but we receive a lot of requests so please be patient.
