Hailing from Reading UK, Baron Funk is energy personified. After winning the showcase award and impressing judges all the way to the final of a national music competition and performing at the NEC arena, Chris met up with Nic Durand, a bassist who he called 'my bass equivalent'. 'Dance has no borders' seems to be the recurring theme of their music. 'We want it to be funky, inclusive, there is a real collective addiction to negativity and ballads, we want to make people move'. Taking influence from Andy McKee and Justin King among others, Baron FunK go further, bringing Chris's guitar abilities together with vocals to make their music an impressive and unique experience.
