ASHLEIGH ASHLEY has always revelled in rhyme, wordplay and visual media. Her fluid vocal style is laced with Soul, Funk, RnB, Dub and modern electro. Taking cues from the likes of Erykah Badu, Mary J Blige, and Janelle Monae, Ashleigh has created an eclectic identity for her music whilst staying true to her roots. Her unmistakable London twang combines ballad harmonics, electronic r'nb and big band spunk to create a formidable euphoric force! - A Must See Live!

Ashleigh's 1st EP was launched at Ronnie Scotts Bar in June 2014, and it has since received endorsements from Gilles Peterson, Hunger Mag and The Telegraph music writer Neil McCormick to mention a few. Most exciting of all the title track ‘Criminal Angel’ was recently picked up by BBC Introducing, and Ashleigh got her first national radio play in December 2014!!

With performances for MOBO, I Luv Live and Rinse FM under her belt Ashleigh is taking the live circuit by storm, and having started the year with a fantastic show at Kensington Roof Gardens the crowds will just keep on growing!

MUSIC and a career in production/entertainment are a priority, but Ash has experience in directing, costume design and fashion - all disciplines that come together to enhance her sound, her performance and the media she creates. Moving image production is a big part of Ash’s artillery, with the RoofHop acoustic sessions showing a more laid-back side of her personality, and each of her music videos based on a strong, narrative concepts. These efforts are self-produced and speak of Ash’s work ethic, and restless sense of collaboration.
