Andrew Watt is vastly experienced in many areas of the music and entertainment business. He is a currently practicing intellectual property, entertainment and media lawyer with Melbourne firm Madgwicks.

Previously Andrew has had an exceptional career, being the founder, editor and publisher of street press publication InPress, a music publisher with the Paul Dainty Corporation, an artist manager of high profile acts in both Australia and the US, a television producer with multiple network credits including being Executive Producer of the series Rock Soldiers (an observational documentary on the Australian concert touring world) and a music journalist and commentator. Andrew’s writing on music and the music industry currently appears regularly in The Age, the Sydney Morning Herald, national music magazine Rhythms and industry website The Music Network.

Andrew currently teaches a number of subjects at tertiary colleges including JMC Academy, Collarts, Australian Institute of Music and Melbourne Polytechnic.
