“I was always pretty angry but to this day I’m not entirely sure what about,” muses 26 year old Ali Warren. “Music has given me an excuse to shout a lot whilst being able to call it an art form”. Though his singing is more of a rich Jeff Buckley croon than a shout, as a country boy who bucked the school system, moved to London with nothing but a pair of flip-flops, and whose heroes range from Fela Kuti to Doris Day, his lyrics aren’t short of substance. In his own words his music is “a sinful take on many of life’s pleasantries, which is honest and from the heart.”

Over the past few years Ali’s toured Europe, played countless shows in London, had airtime on radio 6, been picked as a ‘fresh fave’ Tom Robinson's blog and was described at Larmer Tree Festival as being 'Like listening to a reflective Radiohead after an autumn in a cabin listening to early Floyd cassettes, as Jeff Buckley drops by for tea.' ‘Where You Wanted’ is Ali’s newly released single and coupled with the B-Side ‘Underneath Between,’ 2015 is looking to be a busy year. A second single is already underway and is set for release at the end of February.
