Music has led Alex Seel from Devon to London to Ireland and back to London again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking lyrics and finger-picked acoustic guitar trait. A contemporary twist on the British folksinger/guitarist, he has a growing reputation as a solo performer, having performed around the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Spain.

Alex is excited to announce the release of his new album “All Sails To The Sun” on Friday 29th September. The Album is a dynamic mix ranging from Nick Drake/ Dylanesque folk ballads through to rock that showcases Alex's sound and is inspired by British Folk Revival and poetic and often topical lyric writing.

The first single release from the forthcoming album is the Double A-Side "No Goodbyes" on 14th July, featuring 2 songs "No Goodbyes" and "Wishbone".

With officially 2 albums and 2 EPs under his belt, Seel has built a slow but steady following that has earned him respect from a growing number of folk clubs, radio play and interest from abroad. He has supported Graham Parker and Clive Carrol amongst many others.

Previous touring collaborations have included The Songwriter's Circle Tour (www.circletour.co.uk), organised with singer-songwriter Greg Hancock, and as a duo with virtuoso instrumentalist Jon Sanders.
