Agent is a rock band based in London, UK. Originally formed in New Zealand (NZ) the band relocated to London in 2008. Featuring James Donaldson on vocals and guitar, Matt Flower on bass and backing vocals, Gerald Gill on guitars, and Alex Alvarado on drums, Agent produces accessible, progressive tinged, rock music.

To date Agent have headlined their own NZ tours and UK shows, featured at several London rock festivals, released 2 EP’s, plus two full length albums: “Expand/Contract” which was given 5/5 stars by NZ’s leading music magazine Rip It Up and NZ Musician magazine, making a name for them in their native New Zealand, and their brand new album ‘Kingdom of Fear’ which is creating a buzz in the UK and Europe.

After relocating to London in 2008, Agent quickly became regulars on the live music scene playing alongside numerous bands including fellow Kiwis I Am Giant and Jayson Norris. Agent subsequently teamed up with long time friend and producer Paul Matthews of I Am Giant fame (whose production credits also include Opshop, Blindspott, Stylus, and Six60 to name a few). With Matthews, Agent began work on their second full length album ‘Kingdom of Fear’ which has since been released and is now available worldwide. ‘Kingdom of Fear’ was mastered by Tom Coyne (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus, I Am Giant) of Sterling Sound in New York.

Agent are currently promoting ‘Kingdom of Fear’ and playing shows in the UK and Europe and working on new material for their next release.
