BIOGRAPHY

Inspired by the wildlife of the woods and folk tales of the forest, brothers Alex and Jonathan Betts formed AFFORESTED in England 2007.

Their mostly instrumental sound combines British folk rock with progressive rock by using acoustic instruments along side synthesizers, drums and electric guitars.

The duo have released five albums and two e.p's to date.

Their latest album 'Moss Covered And Time Worn', features thirteen instrumental songs and was released on 21st May 2025.

Influences include: JETHRO TULL, STEELEYE SPAN, RICK WAKEMAN, GRYPHON, FAIRPORT CONVENTION and THE GORDON GILTRAP BAND.
