BACHE (Bay-ch) is a pop-folk band based in Cornwall. The band was formed around the songs written by Cornish singer/songwriter Andrew Bache and features Phil Brown on Drums, Adam Sparks on Bass and Sam BF on Lead Guitar. They are known for their upbeat and fun stage presence and their ability to have a room up on their feet and singing along to songs they have never heard before as well as putting their own spin on well known songs. Their rapport with audiences is what they are remembered for alongside their quirky, sometimes explicit lyrics.
BACHE write songs about things that we all think and feel but don't always say out loud. Whether this is through upbeat lighthearted songs, about the things you would like to say to that friend who 'is a bit of a dick' or why you shouldn't talk your ex, to slower more heartfelt songs, about love that's lost and raising a glass to the future, the lyrics all have a relatable and meaningful story.
They receives regular airplay on local radio stations including a number of songs played on BBC Introducing with their charity Christmas single 'There's No L in Christmas' receiving national airplay on the Mark Forest show.
The summer of 2016 saw them tour the UK playing at a number of high profile festivals such as Boardmasters & Bristol Balloon Fiesta as well playing at venues such as The Roadhouse in Birmingham and Alley Cat in London.
BACHE are currently in the studio finishing off their debut album which is set to be released in May 2017 and then the band will be heading back on the road for a UK Tour shortly after.
