With 4 sold-out singles championed by Steve Lamacq on 6Music, a DIY tour of the USA and support slots with BORNS, Arrows of Love & Team Ghost under her belt, Suzy Blu releases the debut album CRUSH ON YOU on 4th March 2016.

Suzy Blu is a writer and poet who serves her black coffee vocals on a plate of electronic post-punk attitude. A live set of 80s drum machines synched seamlessly to a backdrop of psychedelic projections and film.

Stan on guitar creating psychotic sounds soaked in endless reverb. Alaric on bass, attacking the audience with low-end frequencies using an exhilarating array of vintage pedals. Phil, working and weaving his drones and keyboard melodies completes the new line-up.

Suzy Blu ex lead singer of Insect Guide; described by the Guardian as “the sound of barbed wire delivered with roses”, and Drowned In Sound wrote “an irresistible pop masterpiece... as dark as the most potent Velvet Underground”. Both IG albums were released in Japan, and toured in USA, Europe and the UK followed by a Marc Riley Evening Session. Whilst keeping the pop sensibilities and light-dark dynamics, a new electronic edge has emerged from Insect Guide’s ashes.
