I used to watch the Video Music Box with my dad as a kid. I loved music videos. I used to sneak and rap all the songs in the mirror with a brush. I mean I knew every word to every song then. It became part of who I am.”
The brush was replaced by a mic before too long, but not before HQ cut his teeth in real competition. He writes of this, “I used to rap battle, then in high school I started a group called Lotto Family. That’s when I knew that I was born to travel the world performing my music.” H.Q. has been featured on some of hip hops most notable blogs, such as This is 50, Jack Thriller, VladTv, The Hype Magazine, PaperchasingDotcom, and many others.
