“Smart lyrics and loud guitars: what’s not to like”? Leftlion Magazine.

“Simplistic and powerful”. North Hollywood Arts Magazine.

"Reckless Understatement is a driving new single from an exciting British rock band". Big Cheese Magazine.

The name Grey Goes Down is a disenfranchised finger poking at the bland and colorless clouds that swathe the political and cultural landscape the band was born into.

An exciting post-grunge, alt-punk rock and roll fueled freight train kicking down the doors of all things that convention calls music. With their razor sharp lyrics and chain sawed guitars of sonic sound, the band is destined for all things glorious.

They have played across the length and breadth of this green and pleasant land including headline slots at the prestigious Birmingham O2 Academy, HMV Institute, Nottingham Rescue Rooms as well as an appearance in front of 8,000 plus at the now infamous Bulldog Bash. To say the band have cut their teeth in the bad lands of the UK live circuit is an understatement at the very least, they've cut, sharpened and having bared them with the singles ‘So Easy’ (video directed by Lewis Cater who's done videos for Paramore label mates Cobra Starship, Dive Bella Dive, All Time Low and the ‘Dr Jekyll and Mr Famous’ video for Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz' band, Black Cards), and Reckless Understatement (3 minutes of powerful melody and raw emotion, coupling a radio friendly hook with "a vocal blast the late Kurt Cobain would have been proud of". North Hollywood Arts Magazine).

Following the success of their second single, Reckless Understatement, the band have wasted no time in getting back in the studio to create their debut full length release. Produced by Sam and Joe Graves ( Asking Alexandria, Ben Bruce, Yashin and Deaf Havana), the album is more polished, the sound is bigger and more modern. Down & Out is in digital stores worldwide on December 23rd 2014 but can be purchased here with a free exclusive bonus track, not included in the general release version.
