2015 was a busy year for WILSN, releasing her debut EP to stunning reviews, "Her sound is best described as a mix of “old-school soul” with modern touches of pop, a combination she perfects on her debut EP, Don’t Give It Up." -Hillydilly.com
With people all over the world taking notice, from Ebro Darden (NYC) spinning WILSN on his Beats 1 Radio show to being invited to showcase at the famed SXSW in Austin, Texas, 2016 looks to be an explosive year for the Melbourne singer.
Not one to slow down, WILSN is releasing a brand new single to kick 2016 into full swing. The track was written at the Grove Studios in Sydney with Thom Macken (Tori Kelly) & Emanuel Bender. Recorded with producer Stephen Mowat in studios between New York City and Melbourne, "Over Me" showcases WILSN's fiery brand of powerful, vocally driven soul.
The single features the talents of NYC based horn players, Billy Aukstik and Freddy DeBoe (Mark Ronson/Charles Bradley), along with Melbourne musicians Richard Bradbeer (Dorsal Fins), Ryan Brewer (Silver Springs), Josh Barber (Gotye) and Oscar Dawson (HOLY HOLY).
