Describing themselves as "The XX & Daughter making love to a Lexicon reverb while playing acoustic guitar" Boxtape fuse the serious and silly, the alluring and the aggressive to bring forth lush space filled indie folk theater.

Boxtape are an indie guitar duo from the sleepy leafy town of Horsham, Sussex. They have just launched their first YouTube series which focuses on live studio performances, as well as getting ready to release their debut single "Fancy Objects" later in the year.

Created by Melody Girl and Circuit Boy (aka Kat Ward & Kieren Johnstone) Boxtape is less than a year old but these two have been an abundant songwriting duo for the last 12 years. Taking everything they’ve learned and condensing it down to a stripped-back potent form, Boxtape will take you distances.

Irreverant narrative and a sound ranging from dirty grind to sublime psychedelia. A mutable ensemble of eccentric characters merging the weirder corners of the UK with the darkest underbelly of Americana.

Broken Device are a hard rock band formed in Camberely, Surrey in early 2016. Not liking to put themselves in any particular bracket, they take their influences from a wide range of musical styles. The main aim with the band is to get out there and make some decent noise and have as many come along for the ride as possible!

Rebel City Revival

It's been a long, strange trip already, full of lucky escapes, breakups, unexpected pregnacies, arrests and disappearances amongst many other things.

We can't write it all here, so if you want to hear the full story then come and speak to us... we'll keep it basic for now.

The Beginning: 2011 - mid 2013

Airdrop formed in May 2011 when Ruben replied to Andy's add on Gumtree. Andy had already been in London for a year and a half searching in vain for the right person to start a band from scratch with.

Ruben had played to large crowds in his native Spain with various bands and was looking to take the next step. After he got some compensation from a random accident (I think a roof fell on him or something?!) he finally had some money to make the jump and move to London.

He'd been there 3 weeks before they met on Tottenham Court Road. Ruben's English wasn't that great at the time, so they communicated pretty much by saying names of the bands they loved, which turned out to be exactly the same. Also, somehow, Ruben spoke better English the more beer he drunk.

After that they started writing songs together in a flat in Stockwell.

They played their 1st gig on Wednesday 17th October 2012 at the Camden Rock with Fred Bonatto on vocals and Nathan Gannon on drums. The promoter had just stuck together random acts so they shared the bill with a Lady Gaga wannabe backed by a guy with one of those keytars who stood permanetly with his back to the audience. But it was a start none-the-less.

The rest of the year was tough after Nathan had to go back to Ireland for family reasons and Fred decided decided to persue journalism and left for university. Ruben then also 1ost his job and it was touch and go whether he could afford to stay in London.

Everything was pretty bleak. It seemed like the band would fall apart just as it was getting started.

Things get better: the Current Line Up Begins - Mid 2013 to Present

Ruben, never the quitter, found a new job and Airdrop carried on. Then luckily, after advertising for bassists, they met Al who was just right for the band, both musically and personally.

The toughest search was for a singer. They met so many of the weird and wonderful of London (again, ask for the stories, especially one of them featuring a certain Italian which is ridiculous) but no one was quite right.

Eventually, after they almost gave up finding anyone, Tom turned up for an audition. He seemed normal, so it was a good start :)

By the end of the session it was clear that not only did he have the voice but would be a great front man and was also a good laugh.

Finally, the long and pretty depressing search for a singer was over.

They had a gig planned which they were going to do acoustically but at the last moment Ben replied to their ad for a drummer. He picked up the songs instantly and everything just fell into place.

Despite only having two short rehearsals Ben joined them for their first gig together at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwelll, 5th July 2014 and nailed it. Airdrop was complete.

Looking to the future, with some great new material, new recordings planned and some awesome gigs lined up things are just starting to get really exciting.

All the best!

Tom Ferry, Vocals - Guy D'Angelo, guitar - Martin Ondok, Bass - Nathan "Waka" Harris, Drums - CROW JANE has been active since April 2014, and have recently finished recording our 1st EP, completed in collaboration with Mr. Stuart Epps ( http://www.eppsmusicproductions.com/ http://www.stuartepps.co.uk/ ) The musicianship in CROW JANE is without a doubt second to none (according to a Planet Mondo review "classic Les Paul based riffery - patrolling the borders between the Pistols, Led Zeppelin, & Jeff Beck"...) with top notch songwriting, correct understanding and use of dynamics (both on record & live) and coupled with real showmanship and live appeal it all makes for a solid, professional and overall extremely competitive package plus, as one can gather from our web site and sound clips, the band is very much steeped in that classic late 60's/early 70's Rock tradition, the kind of tradition which (in the 60's & all throughout the 70's) played a vital role in contributing to help certain... historical British bands to "conquer the West" so to speak(!) with few added elements which help bringing the whole package up to date without loosing the all important link to its roots (British, London based, with a deep, sincere love appreciation & respect of American music...etc. etc.). A lot of people seem to have been waiting for this kind of band for a while...we've been told. We are in the process of building a solid infrastructure here in the UK however we also very much, if not more, concerned about doing so States-side, which in reality is where, again, all the people we have talked to so far reckon the band will definitely appeal most; a fact of which we are perfectly aware.

“South-coast four-piece Hercules Morse worship at the twin altars of the riff and the groove, and such devotion has paid off handsomely.” - Rock Sound Magazine

After forming in late 2014, Hercules Morse released their debut EP in December 2015 and received a host of superlative reviews; notably KKKK (4 out of 5) in Kerrang Magazine and 8/10 in Rock Sound Magazine. Their consistently excellent level of song-writing was demonstrated by the fact that all 6 tracks on the EP received airplay from Kerrang Radio and the BBC (6 music and BBC introducing).

The band combine the groove-based riffs of stoner / desert rock, the energy and audacity of classic British rock and the melodic focus of contemporary alternative rock to create something altogether distinct. Mighty riffs are carved over driving bass grooves with lavish guitar licks and catchy vocal lines, creating ferocious sonic beasts immersed in melody. Reviewers frequently laud them as a British hybrid of The Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age.

They have been fortunate enough to share stages with Turbowolf, Band of Skulls, Brant Bjork (former Kyuss drummer), Tiger Cub, Orange Goblin and Dinosaur Pile Up. They have also appeared on bills with Calvin Harris, The Go Team, Tynchy Stryder and The Streets.

In 2016 the band supported Radio One DJ Huw Stephens, Post-hardcore behemoths Black Peaks and former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley as well as performing on the main stages of three festivals: Common People (with Duran Duran), Standon Calling (with Suede) and Weyfest (with The Darkness).

In Hercules Morse’s brief time so far they have raised hell (which to them, is Southampton) with two critically acclaimed EPs, countless blistering live shows, recording a live session for BBC Introducing, and shooting two music videos: one featuring Pat Sharp ('Good Old Days') and the other filmed in the back of a moving van ('Asleep At The Wheel').

Building on the success of their first two releases, the band look set to continue their march towards becoming a household name in the world of rock 'n' roll.

“Stoney, Deserty rock 'n' roll with glistening licks, thumping rhythms and a chorus that throws me personally right back to a time of sitting out in skate parks listening to grunge and punk and drinking Mad Dog 20/20 in the sunshine. Good times!” Alex Baker, Kerrang Radio

"Absolutely fantastic! It's been a pleasure having them in for a live session tonight." Tom Simkins - BBC Introducing

"With their Rock and roll sound mixed with a blues undertone they create a new feel to this sound. With catchy tunes and upbeat melodies it's easy to see why the crowd were so eager to get involved with their music. By the second song the audience were already up, dancing and singing along and thoroughly enjoying themselves." Raven Review - Raven Review

“...own form of blues inspired alternative rock music, complete with a healthy dose of classic rock 'n' roll” Paul Richards - The Hunts Post
