Formed of Mitch, Rory and Christina, Violetic’s music etches dark landscapes, melancholic chords and sharp, delicate melodies. Anxious and insistent bass lines amplified by bloodied and sensuous drums have led them to be compared to acts like Editors, 2:54 and Daughter, while a shamanistic ambience and ability to communicate devastating sentiment make them a cerebral and hypnotizing live act. Originating from the south coast and presently residing in West London, Violetic worked alongside Warm Brain's Rory Attwell (Cheatahs, Kate Tempest, Peace), on their debut EP 'Ethanol', which they self-released in December 2014.

During 2015, Violetic became a rare unsigned band to be featured on the CMU 'Approved' list, gained national airplay on Tom Robinson’s show on BBC Radio 6 and were considered one of the '15 Acts to Catch' at Brighton's Alternative Escape festival. Violetic also made several notable live appearances including support slots with LA's Marriages at Hoxton Square Bar for their first ever UK date, Austin shoegazers Ringo Deathstarr at Electrowerkz in London and alongside premiering the band’s first music video, opened for Youth Club at O2’s Brooklyn Bowl London. Towards the end of the year, Violetic released a live session of two new, unreleased songs surrounding a headline show at Camden Barfly.
