"8, as a collective piece is something we love to play live but the way we do now is quite different from the 2009 EP. So we decided to release this altered version by going back to the drawing board, reworking it, taking advantage of the lineup consolidation and technical progress we've been through since the original was out. This is a thank you to our fans for being so supportive and believing in us, and we really hope they will enjoy what we've done with it. Whilst they enjoy this, we're busy in our batcave, working on our second album. We want to get that exactly right as it's a concept album, the technical aspect is more engaging than on Februus and we're leaving more room for experimentation which means our writing spectrum is broad as hell." - Iggy

'I can honestly say, in the name of all that may or may not be holy, this is probably one of the best, most complete songs I have ever heard in metal, let alone it’s technical sub-categorical genre. This song will have you reeling in a state of confusion, euphoria and general acceptance of what is making its way into your ears. With copious amounts of what punters like to call ‘epic’, this song is one for all fans of metal, whether it’s death, black, thrash, doom or folk (and obviously tech). This EP will quite simply melt your face (in the best possible way)' 10/10 - Punk Prospect

'8 is a sprawling twenty-four minute journey into low-tuned entropy. It’s syncopated, violent, frightening, and bombastic (something more “djent” needs to be if this style is going to survive at all), and it attacks like a serpent wrapping itself around you and crushing your bones with malice-inspired pressure' - No Clean Singing
