A celebration of Kasabian

(performed by Kazabian)

alongside Fontaines C.D (who will be performing the music of Fontaines D.C)

Kasabian are the swaggering architects of a distinctly British brand of electro-infused rock rebellion. Emerging from Leicester in the early 2000s, they fused swaggering guitar riffs, pulsating dance beats, and psychedelic edge into a sound that straddles stadium rock and rave culture. Fronted now by Sergio Pizzorno after Tom Meighan’s departure, the band’s evolution has only sharpened their edge—leaner, bolder, and more experimental. Known for explosive live shows and anthems like Club Foot and Fire, Kasabian remain one of the UK’s last great festival powerhouses: part Madchester revival, part futuristic punk, and always unapologetically loud, confident, and kinetic.

Fontaines D.C. are the poetic punks redefining modern rock with raw honesty and Dublin grit. Emerging from Ireland’s post-punk revival, their sound fuses Joy Division’s tension with The Pogues’ lyrical soul. Grian Chatten’s half-spoken vocals cut through swirling guitars and relentless rhythms, capturing disillusionment, identity, and working-class poetry. Albums like Dogrel and Skinty Fia balance ferocity with introspection, evolving from urban urgency to expansive melancholy. Onstage, they radiate controlled chaos—urgent, magnetic, and unpretentious. Fontaines D.C. don’t just play music; they channel the restless pulse of a generation searching for meaning in a world teetering between beauty and decay.
