Strange Lot
Strange Lot + Kitchen Lover + Smile You S.O.B.
STRANGE LOT began as the bedroom project of singer/guitarist Dominic Mena in Phoenix before relocating to Austin in 2019. The band has since evolved into its current lineup: Dominic Mena, Tim Lormor, Levi Murray on bass, and Jordan Fitzpatrick on synthesizer and guitar.
Their new self-titled album was produced by Alex Maas of The Black Angels, mixed by Jim Eno of Spoon, and mastered by Howie Weinberg.
After touring with Boogarins in 2024, the band capped the year with a performance on the headlining stage at Austin’s Levitation Festival alongside The Black Angels. 2025 has brought an official appearance at SXSW, a headlining spring tour, and a new album on the horizon - continuing their pursuit of immersive, psychedelic soundscapes.
STRANGE LOT has been direct support for The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, Kikagaku Moyo, LA Witch and more.
Kitchen Lover Hailing from the ashes of a 1950s punk child raised in a non-monogamous relationship by The Chats & Dead Kennedy’s, Kitchen Lover were once a raw-edged two-piece which soon became three, before three became four. The ever-expanding pack still holds a visceral core, but with a splash of sophistication and undeniable flare. The four-piece put themselves in just about any box that feels right, drawing inspiration from most corners of music without limitation.
2025 saw the release of the debut album “The Circus Sideshow Dream” along with the group supporting the likes of Getdown Services, Frankie & The Witch Fingers, O. and Toya Delazy. This year the boys are set for a busy January recording their follow-up full length release and a UK tour. It’s fair to say Kitchen Lover is an independent powerhouse and one to keep ya wooden spoons on.
Smile You S.O.B An ever growing and changing Alternative Psychedelic Rock band hailing from Kent in the South of England. An audacious dynamic trio that combines heavy riffs and beautiful trippy soundscapes with Beatles-esc harmonies. Cheeky stories about Brian, Rich Tea biscuits and Saveloys. Hot off the heals of their recent victory at Medways Battle of the Bands, 2026 is going to be the year where they go hell for leather with EP releases and gigging so much that their sweat glands might just shrivel up and kick the bucket.
