First time I have written about how I write. Due to filling up some blog space! I can sometimes sit down and intend to write. With collaboration it is intentional too. But the most often times when something hits me is at an inopportune moment, at the supermarket checkout, school run, while socialing. Walking in a public place, out and about! So I have to find a quiet spot and leave myself an answer phone message of the tune, or record it on my phone. In the old days before a mobile phone was just that. I'd carry a tape recorder with me at all times. Before tape recorders, I had to write it down on manuscript paper as best as I could.
