“They Think They’re People” might be a tongue in cheek reference to how the band see themselves in the music scene, but there’s nothing ironic about the music within. At 8 tracks deep, the band have given us everything from up-tempo and energetic live show favourites such as “Nowhere Fast” and ”You Don’t Know Me” to more laid back and psyche-rock-sleaze infused tracks like “Margins” and “Shine On”. Also included on the record is the single released earlier this year, “Going To Hell”, and newer material such as “Digging Up Dirt”, “Go Love Yourself” and “Reckless” that lead on nicely from the sound of their previous album, Hail.
