The Orange Circus Band are a Celtic-Americana quartet based in the UK, with roots in Virginia, Wales, Cornwall, and England. Despite having a hand in traditional roots music, they produce full-blooded mountain monkey music with a wholly unique, contemporary sound – guaranteed to be unlike anything you’ve ever heard before.

"One of my very favourite bands, The Orange Circus Band...I can't think of anyone else out there making music like them. If Jonathan Richman and The Velvet Underground joined forces and made a Bluegrass album..."

-- Rory Carlile, The Harrison

Their most recent release, Carmen Town - produced by Leigh Lawson (Mumford & Sons) - receives airplay on the UK’s most prominent radio station, BBC Radio.

Their playful video to Carmen Town was animated by Marvel comic artist, Guillermo Ortego.

Recently, the band also performed Shady Grove for The Tilehouse Sessions (Mike Oldfield, Tubular Bells).

They play a monthly residency at the world-famous Troubadour in London. Raffish and revolutionary, this place developed into a centre of rebellion and new music for the young and young hearted. It's where Bob Dylan first performed when he came to London. Other faces of old include Charlie Watts, Sammy Davis Jnr and Jimi Hendrix. And more recently it has guested Adele, Ed Sheeran and Laura Marling.
