Slander was recorded at "The Basement" & "Coalition Studios" Ontario, Canada. This is The Joint's first album that doesn't feature drummer Warren Gies (band duration 2007-2015). The album features drummer Scott Girouard who previously toured with the band on thier 2014 "All Dolled Up" North American Tour. Slander was recorded from June 2016 to August 2017 and was released on December 22nd 2017.
