Like most things, The Empty Page began life in a cold, damp warehouse in Manchester. In 2015, three long time friends got together to write some fuzzy and effervescent 90s style alt rock tunes reminiscent of the music of their misspent youth.
Since then they've self-released their debut album, Unfolding, which was recorded in just over a week in Vancouver with producer royale Gggarth Richardson, been played on 6 Music by Steve Lamacq and played sold out shows in the UK and Canada.
This year The Empty Page release new music. New single When The Cloud Explodes comes out on Feb 22 2019 and has already been playlisted by Amazing Radio and played on BBC 6 Music by both Steve Lamacq and Gideon Coe. The band plan to release a series of singles over the first part of the year.
