THE ATRIUM is a four-piece indie rock band from Duisburg, Germany. Their musical style is described as anthemic pop-rock. After spending a few years working on their songs in studio, The Atrium debuted live in 2015, playing about 30 shows, including some major music festivals in Nordrhein-Westfalen such as Traumzeit Festival Duisburg, Bochum Total and Essen.Original. The same year they released the four-track "Electrified EP", that was distributed at the band's shows and later became available on Soundcloud. Their debut music video "Electrified" was filmed in Paris and featured on the "A-One" music channel (Ukraine). The single is currently on the playlists of German and Belarusian radio stations. In early 2016 The Atrium released their second video "Northern Lights" which was filmed in Hamburg. The band went on touring the same year, giving concerts all over the Germany, including Traumzeit Festival, Extraschicht and two gigs at the IFA – the international trade show in Berlin. One of the highlights was the winning of the Hard Rock Rising bandcontest at the Hard Rock Cafe Cologne. The Atrium's first full-length album "Up North" (released on March 13, 2016 in all digital stores) includes the two previously released singles and eight new songs, all written and produced by the band.
