The Sea Kings debut single is very much steeped in the Glasgow tradition. From the early Postcard Records that were influenced by Motown, New wave and Post-punk, Bible John combines pop sounds with some dark matters.

Glasgow has a well-known dance-hall demon, well known in the parish certainly. His sobriquet lingers on the lips of children and adults, and like a poor man’s Jack the Ripper he leaps off the tongue.

He’s real but his moniker is the creation of the tabloid mind whose thirst for sales is not hampered by the thought of induced pandemonium.  

**[Bible John peels back the skin of what we will never know and creates its own story in the absence of evidence and truth. He is the true un-dead, the spectre that haunts the dreams of the failed detective too drunk on Creamola Foam to even try.
