LINE UP //

Chief Rockas - Chief Rockas Collective

Already a stalwart at such a young age, Chief Rockas brings a selection of Roots and Rub-a-Dub in a digital style! With a seemingly bottomless collection of tunes, expect a well considered and slick set to keep the night thumping along.

Dub, Sweat & Beers Sound System

Having provided some of our favourite events in Norwich for a long time, we are extremely pleased to have these guys on board! With some of the heaviest Steppa tunes around these guys will make you sweat, fo’ real. Moreover, we are super grateful for them letting us use their sound system. Only recently released back on the general public, the DS&B system has proven to be one of the tightest sounds around. With real punch and clarity, we have no doubts about how great the night will sound, you are in safe hands.

Samphire Sounds - Bass Matters

Finally, we have our very own Samphire Sounds with a mix drawing on all different facets of the Reggae spectrum, stopping at many sub-genres along the way. Expect a rumbling bassline and a new school vibe.

Line Up

To whom it may concern,

I am from a group of UEA alumna named Bass Matters that aims to provide accessible club nights that are based around alternative, sub-culture genres. I believe that a couple of the other members, Pete or Rocky, have been in touch previously so you may have an idea of what we are about but we market our events predominantly to students whilst trying to keep the events away from Prince of Wales Road. The event I am in the process of planning is hopefully going to be a dub "Reggae Matters" night featuring a few selectors from across the city, including myself, Finbarr of Rebel Lion (who I'm aware you guys know) and hopefully some members of Full Tone. I am ideally looking at the 24th of March for this event and was hoping you might be able to provide me with some information on the availability and specs of the venue, any restrictions we might face and pricing if possible. I hope that this event is something you could get behind and look forward to your response.

Kind regards, Laurence
