The 4 sharp dressed Franco-Americans take the ‘moderniste’ element of their tagline seriously and avoid retro déjà vu while still maintaining a clear nod to their 1960’s influences. The Beatniks are a Mod/Hammond/Garage/Soul/Beat band from Southend in Essex and are Andy McAvoy on Hammond Organ and Keyboards, Heather Campbell on Drums, Sean Thorogood on Bass, Paul Lupton on Guitar and Tony Camp on Vocals and Harmonica.
