A far cry from his career origins as Producer and recording engineer for an eclectic list of artists in the Glasgow music scene, Calum created this album from his remote Highlands home during lockdown and it is the result of hours of improvisation, layering and looping sounds on customised electronics. The album is a collection of almost entirely live recordings and was conceived in collaboration with Michael Feeney, who gave external focus to an evolving, layered collection of ideas which have found form in the majestic swelling sounds of Colour of Stars. Michael will be the evening’s DJ, bringing the sounds of the itinerant ‘Slow Club’ to Glasgow. Expect a very relaxing evening!
