Raymond MacDonald & Jer Reid
We organised three gigs back at the Glad in September last year. It was a mighty time so we are back at the Glad again. Raymond & Jer met playing in the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra though they had one degree of separation playing in guitar bands in Glasgow in the 1990's. https://raymondmacdonaldjerreid.bandcamp.com/releases
Gift Horse
Gift Horse are a Glasgow duo combining the breathy chanson-pop vocals of French-born guitarist Audrey Bizouerne with the darkly comic Scottish storytelling of drummer David Maxwell. Formed in 2017, Gift Horse move fluently between kitchen-sink lyrics that navigate the humdrum and the sublime, flirtations with surf and garage-rock, 4AD indie in the Breeders/Throwing Muses mould, and juxtaposed girl-boy vocals that recall the quiet intensity of Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan. https://gifthorserides.bandcamp.com
Skye Reynold & Graeme Wilson
First duo performance. Improvised music and dance. Skye Reynolds says: I am a dance artist, performance-maker and educator. Passionate and curious about multi-artform communication, my practice is experimental and influenced by the politics of ‘real life.’ Graeme Wilson is a sax/ flute player, composer and researcher into music psychology. They have played together at the Something Smashing music and dance performance night in Edinburgh. https://skyereynolds.com/ https://twitter.com/WilsonGraemeB
