Ejit Easter Update - March 2018
Oi oi - time for an Ejit Update!
We've had a bunch of gigs over the winter and an intense 5 weeks of working on new songs for the next album. We've a good 9 already, 6 ready to record and the others pretty close. A handful of other tunes are bubbling under for a second session later in the summer and with good fortune and fair wind we'll have enough to stick on an album plus a few bonus tunes to perhaps do as an EP or some such nonsense. Alternatively we could end up doing a Clash with Sandinista and just bunging every bit of shit we think of onto a triple album...
Anyway, new songs like Heroes, Punk Band, OTFH, New Girl, The Ballad of Gerry Flynn, This is not an Xmas Song, Pie and Mash, as well as reworked oldies XBB and Riot, will be joined by a few others still in the early stages (Mr Spangled is one I'm particularly keen on!).
We are also trying to get our shit in gear and get a re-release of the first album but if you are a modern type, you can get it on iTunes or Amazon as an invisible download thingy. Not sure how that works with the wax cylinder player but I'm sure your kids will know...
