SASKWATCH SAY GOODBYE
Saskwatch + Jim Lawrie + Ella Thompson + DJ Chris Gill
Entry Requirements: 18+
After 10 years as a band, four albums, and hundreds of live shows globally, Melbourne indie-soul band Saskwatch have announced their final ever show to celebrate their career and goodbye to fans.
The band got their break when legendary Soul DJ Vince Peach discovered them playing on the streets of Melbourne. This lead to a 3 year on again & off again residency at Cherry culminating in a release of their de-but LP 'Leave It All Behind’ in 2012 on the iconic Northside Records label. It was this residency that lead to widespread word of mouth about the bands exceptional live show, led by formidable frontwoman Nkechi Anele.
The following year, they were offered to play at the famous Glastonbury Festival amongst others across the continent - and the rest is history.
Come celebrate one of Australia's most exciting live bands of the last decade at The Curtin with good friends and a long term horn section.
