ROCKET SCIENCE SINGLE LAUNCH

We are all but voyeurs in this modern age. Rocket Science are back with a lurching, crispy fried new single from their forthcoming 5th studio album. “Lipstick Red” c/w “Back For More”. Glimpsed through a fog of burnt coffee grounds, this is a distillation of observation and alienation, set in a charred landscape.   Rocket Science, Roman Tucker (vocals, organ, Theremin), Dave Gray (bass guitar, fuzz bass) Kit Warhurst (drums, vocals) and Paul Maybury (guitar), play trashy-psychedelic- garage-punk with new wave, no-wave art-punk enthusiasm. Formed in mid-1988 the band has released 4 full length albums and enjoyed numerous ep’s, singles and 12” releases both in Australia and overseas. Described as one of the greatest bands to see live in the world by Rolling Stone Magazine, Rocket Science has received accolades and excitement from all over the world.

After a 6-year hiatus Rocket Science has returned to the live gigging arena with plans to release a 5th album. Lipstick Red, the first single to drop, will be available on limited 7" vinyl at the launch.

Rocket Science will descend on The Curtin Friday April 20th.
