Post punk trash pop duo Shelf Lives are bringing punk back to the house party. Formed in South London, originating from Toronto Canada and Northampton their addictive sound is sass paired with heavy guitar and unforgiving bass. Think of the acerbic art-rock of Le Tigre, the flailing intensity of The Prodigy, and the gritty garage-rock inspired electro bombast of Peaches. Produced by Shelf Lives and Space who produced two Idles albums - ‘Brutalism’ and ‘Joy as an act of Resistance’. Mastered by John Davis (Metropolis Studios) who has mastered the likes of Gorillaz, The Prodigy, FKA Twigs, Bat for Lashes and recently, Inhaler. Shelf Lives are poised to make a huge dent in the UK post-punk scene. With an unmissable live show and more new music to share in the coming months, Shelf Lives are bringing punk back to the house party just in time.
