Nimbus Sextet are one of the most innovative groups emerging from the new wave of UK jazz. Following a packed out performance at the iconic Ronnie Scott's in January, the band returns to Glasgow for a triple bill headline show at The Blue Arrow Jazz Club. Support comes from Nathan Somevi Trio and Norman Willmore.

Led by pianist/keyboardist and harmonica player Joe Nichols, Nimbus Sextet plays episodic and infectious original music that spans the jazz-world-funk spectrum.

Nimbus Sextet’s debut album DREAMS FULFILLED (Acid Jazz Records) has garnered widespread critical acclaim from the likes of Jazzwise, Jazzed and Clash Magazine. Jazz FM are major supporters, awarding the group 'Album Of The Week' in late 2020 and playlisting all of their singles on Acid Jazz to date. The band have firmly established themselves as leading lights in the new wave of Scottish jazz, and as a major voice in the UK’s vibrant jazz scene.
