BODEGA Brand new tour announced for Feb 2019
Debut album Endless Scroll out now What’s Your Rupture?
New York art-punks BODEGA have announced a brand new 2019 tour - including their largest headline show to date at London’s Scala on Wednesday 20th February.
‘Name Escape’ is the latest single from their debut album Endless Scroll, which came out in July. Metronomic, minimal and full of BODEGA’s trademark lyrical witticisms, ‘Name Escape’ follows previous BBC Radio 6 Music singles ‘How Did This Happen ?!’ and ‘Jack In Titanic’.
Endless Scroll was met with rave reviews from the likes of Observer, Guardian, Independent, Financial Times, The Times, DIY, Uncut and more. Recalling the rich history of New York’s musical heritage whilst keeping its sight on the future, Endless Scroll revitalizes the rock and roll vocabulary under the influence of post punk, contemporary pop, hip-hop, kraut rock, and folk-derived narrative songwriting. Endless Scroll was recorded and produced by Austin Brown (Parquet Courts) on the same Tascam 388 tape machine used for their LP Light Up Gold.
