Hastings Philharmonic is the artistic body that joins the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra, Hastings Philharmonic Choir and Hastings Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

This season marks a number of changes. For the first time, we will offer our growing and very loyal audience a much bigger selection of concerts including choral symphonic music, choral a cappella music, purely symphonic music, opera, chamber music, our traditional Christmas carols concert, and a Bossa Nova fundraising event.

To celebrate this, we have launched our PHILHARMONIC SEASON TICKET which will give access to everyone of our 10 concerts for the heavily discounted price of £130.

For the official opening of the 2016/2017 season as part of the Remembrance Day weekend and the 1066 anniversary commemorations, we will hold, at White Rock Theatre, our biggest concert in many years, performing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony as well as a commissioned piece by English composer Philip O’Meara.

This marks an exciting step in our journey as Hastings Philharmonic and helps add to the cultural tapestry in Hastings by creating even larger and more ambitious musical and artistic productions, thereby further influencing the perception of the town as a centre of cultural excellence in the UK.
