Steve Young hits the ground running with the much anticipated release of his fourth studio album ‘Famous For A Day’

A rumbustious journey featuring ten head nodding, foot stomping feel-good songs enriched with filthy guitar riffs, emotive lyrics, catchy choruses and epic guitar solos

The album welcomes guest performances from legendary & world famous session guitarist Phil Palmer (Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Tina Turner, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie); award winning Blues Hammond player Stevie Watts (Steve Winwood, Elles Bailey, Connor Selby) Top UK session drummer Olly Tandon, US Country singer Savannah Gardner and a very special appearance from the Grange Academy SEND Choir where Steve teaches music.

The album title refers to April 26th 2024 when, for one whole day, Steve was on the front page of every newspaper and lead story on most TV channels around the world for being the first person to receive a revolutionary new mRNA cancer vaccine. The interviews still continue, recently Steve featured on a news story in Brazil watched by 120 million viewers where he discussed his treatment, meeting King Charles III and ended with an acoustic performance of Dog & Bone

The tracks include the previously released singles Long Long Road Ahead, Looks Like You & Feelin’ Fine as well as 6 brand new songs (inc new fan favourite Dog & Bone) and a special remix & remaster of the hauntingly personal ‘My Son’
