George Robertson as a singer songwriter located in the northeast Highlands of Scotland after playing original music for more than 20 years from being in bands and gigging up and down the country From small dingy clubs and pubs to sharing the stage and opening for Biffy Clyro

it's time now to start a solo career.

After a year in solitude I came out refreshed still affected but hungry to compose and write original music

my friends were always around me and we decided to start a band we were bloody awful at the start I was all bands were but we soon picked up hype and the local community embraced our efforts Every Sunday the whole scheme and the nearest ones around would hear us play the music

we would have adults, jakies , junkies and small kids come up to the side of the fence and peek in and watch us jump around my brother shed belting out our own songs

the wiring in there wasn't so clever because every time every time I touch the microphone I would get an electric shock on my lips but that didn't put me off

The last successful band that I was in was one called catching Amy we gagged up and down the Highlands and islands of Scotland in fact we've been up and down the country we recorded an album unsold nearly 5000 of them and that was just at gigs alone we weren't very savvy or clued up regarding the whole streaming or monetizing our songs because we were just doing it for the fun of it

Now nearly 20 years later I find myself writing music that's more applicable to the chapter in my live that my current direction is heading, I'm not so angry I'm not so frightened anymore because I know that I'm not alone With my family and friends firmly behind me I'm ready to embark and start a new chapter Writing music that's good for me
