Veteran electronic artist DIGITAL 21 combines with PLACEBO's STEFAN OLSDAL to form the band 'MADE FOR HUMANS'.

STEFAN OLSDAL is a co-founder and one-half of the iconic alternative rock band PLACEBO, with a history dating back to the '90s. Over the years, PLACEBO has released 8 studio albums, all of which have achieved Top 20 status in the United Kingdom and have collectively sold around 11 million records worldwide. Their renown is further underscored by their headlining performances at countless festivals across the globe.

DIGITAL 21 began making music in 1988 and is one of the pioneers in the Spanish electronic music scene by combining electronic music with real instruments (such as analog synths or classical music instruments, etc.), +video art.

A decade ago, these two talents decided to join forces simply as 'DIGITAL 21 + STEFAN OLSDAL' blending club sounds and classical instruments, particularly featuring a string quartet (on that band).

Building upon this musical synergy and driven by the distinct circumstances of the 2020 lockdown, they gave birth to a new musical endeavor: 'MADE FOR HUMANS' This second band, which centers around their instrumental, classical, and cinematic compositions, maintains their mutual passion for classical instruments such as string quartets, pianos, organs, and more.

Within the realm of 'MADE FOR HUMANS', the same two artists channel their deep appreciation for classical instruments, unveiling a facet that aligns with their instrumental and classical inclinations.

At the same time, since their start during the 2020 lockdown, they have used their music to convey that we need air to breathe and the planet needs our care. In this new album, they also delve into the depths of human existence itself.

Crafting slow songs that seem to halt time, they create music meant to be immersed in and lost within."
