SEATS are a 4-piece Electro Fuzz Pop act based in Brighton and the South- East.
Drawing from influences such as Foals, Diiv and GUM the band have made a name for themselves playing around South East England as well as festivals around the country including Y Not Festival, The Alternative Escape, Together The People and City Sound Project.
Since their inception in the late winter of 2014 they’ve established themselves in the Brighton scene, merging ethereal Shoegaze textures with Synth, punk and indie-pop song writing sensibilities.
The guys’ first release ’Danky Dank’, is a collection of songs molded into an EP, born out of an eagerness to showcase SEATS’ potential as a band and live performers.
With their previous shows being a sold out night at Bleach and a packed to the rafters Tooting tram and Social in London, the boys are now focusing on writing new songs showcasing the addition of Synthesiser, and more emotionally mature and upfront lyrics.
SEATS’ aim to destabilise the stereotype of the average Indie-Pop quartet, see them get sweaty on a stage near you and you’ll see what we’re talking about.
