SCARLET REVIEWS "’Effigy’ was the best DIY indie-rock album of 2016...the Liverpool rockers are the U.K. underground’s best- kept secret...a gem of a record" - Alternative Press

“Scarlet should be fucking massive. A shimmering, strutting and sexy record ‘Effigy’ is jam-packed with indie- rock bangers which ooze class. Quite simply the best indie album we’ve heard in a long time” - HeadFirst4Music

“Marrying the modern pop savvy of Paramore to the ethereal otherness of Belly, Scarlet take aim at the pop dartboard and land joyously close to the bullseye” - The Skinny

‘Unsurprisingly, a stunning piece of work’ - The John Peel centre on ‘Anyway’

'Has the UK finally found our very own Patti smith or Karen O which we have all so longed for!!?? Lets fuckin’ hope so!!’
Urbanista online magazine
‘Don’t be surprised to see these hitting the big leagues soon, with headline shows of their own surely just around the corner’
GetIntoThis

‘A female fronted band is unfortunately such a rarity these days, talk all you will about sensationalised artists such as Beyonce or Rihanna, yet there is still a huge gap in the market for decent female underground musicians. Well, that was until, Liverpool outfit Scarlet rocked up on the scene, proving that actually, us girls can both talk the talk and walk the walk'. Lauren Jones - The Music Manual

‘One of the North-West’s most hotly-tipped up-and-comers, they’re most certainly not to be missed before the big-time comes calling’
GetIntoThis 'Youthful, star-gazingly dreamy pop-infused indie with a sprinkle of attitude is SCARLET and SCARLET are big- time. Believe that.’
