Metropolis Rising in association with Music Glue is a brand new industry platform offering the most promising new talent on the music circuit the opportunity to showcase their wares at one of the most famous recording facilities in the world, Metropolis Studios. Every month, three acts are invited to play a 20 minute set in front of an audience made up of industry heads and music fans on the hunt for the next big thing.
The shows, hosted by Electric Electric, showcase the best in new music from a diverse mix of singer songwriters and producers presenting a set of laid back and/or unplugged tracks.

The event showcased a fantastic line up of three English artists: Million Miles, Ciaran Austin and Déyyess, mixing jazzy vibes, chilled out rap and enchanting voices.
Tay Salem showcased his new EP with just an electric guitar and deep drums to pair with his exquisite voice. Elisa Imperilee and Srigila brought a chilled lo-fi hip-hop vibe that made everyone dance and sing along by the end of their set. The evening finished with Hebe, a singer songwriter from Amsterdam to look out for next year.
Three incredible acts came together to present a hell of a show. Karim Tha Peasant started the evening with a powerful and authentic set, followed by Marble Empire’s dreamy electronica. To finish up, Jack Conman transported the audience with a subtle atmospheric show.
George Cosby, Thalab and Ashnikko performed individual sets offering a great evening of new and exciting music.
