Tears on the Dancefloor: #2

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the 90's dance-pop band released their 5th studio album on May 21, Tears On The Dancefloor, reaching number 2. A deluxe edition of the album, Tears On The Dancefloor: Crying At The Disco , was later released on October 27, re-entering the chart at #8. Robert Plant

Carry Fire: #3

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant returned with a new solo title, Carry Fire, entering the Official UK Albums Chart directly at #3 and scoring his eleventh top 10 under his own name. Visit Robert Plant's official store on Music Glue, run via Probity Merchandise.


Pollinator #4

Public Service Broadcasting

Every Valley: #4

Public Service Broadcasting returned this year with Every Valley, a concept album on the rise and decline of the UK's coal industry, released via PIAS on July 7. The band have toured the album extensively in the UK and recently announced more dates for 2018, all available to buy from their official store on Music Glue.

Shane Filan

Love Always: #5

Former Westlife band member Shane Filan shared his third solo album Love Always on August 25. The record is released through Ocean Wave / Absolute. Visit Shane Filan's official store here, via Absolute Label Services.

Enter Shikari

The Spark: #5

Enter Shikari had a busy year. Their debut album Take To The Sky turned 10, which they remembered with a celebratory tour in the Spring. The band then released their fifth studio album, The Spark, on September 22 and played their biggest arena tour to date; Enter Shikari chose Music Glue as their official ticketing partner for the 18 show dates selling direct to fans. Silver Eye: #6

The electronic duo released their 7th album Silver Eye via Mute on March 31. The much awaited record is their first since 2013’s Tales of Us, and after a brilliant run of festival performances including Glastonbury, Bluedot and Latitude, Goldfrapp toured the UK with their ‘Silver Eye World Tour’. Every country's Sun: #6

Scottish post-rock band Mogwai released their ninth album on September 1 via their own label, Rock Action. The record was their first since 2014's well-received Rave Tapes and reached #6 in the Official UK Albums Chart. Visit Mogwai's official store on Music Glue.
