Pat Dam Smyth

Pat Dam Smyth is an Irish-Greek artist, producer, soundtrack composer, and video artist, crafting a distinctive body of work that blends cinematic storytelling with experimental soundscapes and emotionally raw songwriting. His releases have developed a cult following drawn to their intensity, atmosphere, and uncompromising vision. Rooted in themes of identity, memory, and the psychological aftermath of conflict, Smyth’s work channels a deeply personal yet cinematic scope—merging alternative, indie, and ambient textures into immersive sonic landscapes. His compositions have been personally selected by directors including David Moreau, Charles-Henri Belleville, and Terry Loane.

He has also created the sonic identity for the fragrance brand Room 1015 since its inception.

His album trilogy began with The Great Divide (2014), produced by Barrett Lahey, and continued with The Last King (2019), produced by Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) Both records were awarded 4-star reviews from publications including MOJO, Q, Rolling Stone, Clash, The Independent, and The Times, and have since become underground cult releases.

The final instalment sees him collaborate with Los Angeles Artists Heather Mae Jones, with the concluding album set for release soon.
