Palm Honey are a Reading/London based band harbouring a love for the left-field, the avant-garde, and the expressionistic. Channeling both experimental and pop music influences, they concoct dense, otherworldly, transformative songs. Their debut EP ‘Tucked Into the Electronic Wave’ is an extraterrestrial art-rock supernova, with tinges of krautrock, electronica, shoegaze, post-punk, psychedelia, and even a little jazz. It’s hypnotic, melodic and chaotic. The sound of a band making their statement of intent. Thematically, the EP is introspective; frontman Joseph Mumford mostly sings about his neurosis, and the discomfort that comes with being a young adult in a demanding world.
"The dreamy psych-pop crew’s shoegaze-y melodies and deep-cutting lyricism is pushing them in a deeper, more profound direction that will secure their position as the break out act of the year." - Wonderland Magazine
