Introducing Antonio Amoroso and James Teddy Smith, collectively known as Off Colour. Off Colour is an artistic duo from Milton Keynes. Their music is described as indie pop with an urban edge. Their style is versatile, commercial and unique. Known for their cinematic sounds and infectious melodies Off Colour has developed a sound that is trademarked for success. Off Colour are highly influenced from artists such as Coldplay, One Republic and Ed Sheeran to name a few. What really makes Off Colour stand out from the crowd is their clear pronunciation and British accent throughout their records and performances. Some have described this as a “London Twang” that keeps the records fresh and unique. Off Colour first gained recognition by doing covers on YouTube for fun but they could only envisage the response they would receive. This recognition spurred them on to developing their music further by doing more covers which would lead them to achieving a staggering 260,000 views in the lead up to them releasing their own material. Just over a year ago Off Colour released a cover EP alongside some original material on their Soundcloud which went on to achieving thousands of plays from Soundcloud users. The success Off Colour achieved on YouTube and Soundcloud allowed them to receive the recognition from other leading UK artists and producers. They went on to work with artists such as G FrSH (Disturbing London), Mercston and Sincere Not being ones to rest on their laurels. In 2014 Off Colour teamed up with E.C.O.E. Management and The Commission Group who now guide Off Colour to a lifetime of success within the industry. Under the watchful eye of E.C.O.E. Management, Off Colour has grown vocally, artistically and stylistically. Placed under a strict regime Off Colour has seen the vast improvements that have shaped the artists they are today. This regime has elevated them to working with some of the finest producers and songwriters the UK has to offer. Producers such as Stikmatik, SOS (BOE Global), P2J and songwriters such as Ari, Varren Wade, Nia, Audrey Laurencelle and Clare Dove. Working with these creative minds has also developed and moulded Off Colour in to the artist they have become to date. 2015 saw Off Colour release their debut single Touchdown which has achieved over 10,000 views on YouTube and has been featured on numerous blogs and local and regional radio stations. Following the success of Touchdown Off Colour followed up the release with a string of performances all around London and the South East. They played iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Amersham Arms supporting Bombay Bicycle Club (DJ set) and Queen of Hoxton. Towards the end of 2015 Off Colour released their biggest cover to date. A UK Grime Medley on Link Up TV which has received over 920,000 views on Facebook and 40,000 views on YouTube. This viral success has seen a major growth in their fan base and sets them up nicely for a successful 2016. 2016 will see Off Colour release their new single Broken Bond in January and then one single and cover every 2 months as this is what their fans demand.
