In the past year or so, the band have played a sold out headline show at Oxford’s Cellar, performed a series of festival dates including the BBC Introducing stage at Truck Festival, and supported high profile acts such as YAK, Willie J Healey, Toy, Bo Ningen and Black Honey, and they performed on the main stage at the Cowley Road takeover Ritual Union festival alongside Nadine Shah, Ghostpoet and Gaz Coombes.

They were featured on the cover for the 40th issue of Oxfordshire Music Scene magazine. OMS put on two anniversary shows to celebrate the 40th edition, both with Mother headlining. Both sold out. Read the full interview here https://bit.ly/2KKVt1X

Mother singer Josh Alden was interviewed and performed a solo version of the band’s ‘Strangers’ for BBC Introducing in Oxford (watch here https://bbc.in/2N5o3xE) , while ‘School Days’ has been played by Tom Robinson on 6Music.

After previously releasing an EP produced by Mark Gardener (songwriter and frontman for shoe-gaze pioneers RIDE), MOTHER are now working on their debut album, which is being produced by Chris Barker.
