Million Miles is a Franco/British singer songwriter intertwining elements of soul, folk and blues based in London. Exeter-based Ciaran Austin's quest to evolve his sound from lap-top to live will see him bring his unique style of ambient hip-hop to Metropolis Studios with an amalgam of musical textures and contemporary British lyrics. Austin’s lyrics are cerebral and artistic, anchored by compelling electronic arrangements. His journey perfectly reflects the Metropolis Rising ethos.

20-year-old Hannah Butcher is the multi-talented singer and songwriter behind Déyyess. ‘Guns’, her self-penned debut single conjures a dark and enigmatic poetry that belies her years. Chanelling strong female artists from Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks through to Lana Del Rey, her enthralling one woman show has since won her much aclaim and support spots with the likes of Fyfe, Elle Watson, Dan Owen and Terra Lightfoot.
